December is already in FULL SWING…

I know what you are thinking, YES this year has gone by so fast! I am sure you are getting excited for all the light displays, cold weather, dressing up in your best winter dress clothes and showing up to a party knowing your hair and makeup will stay on all night because of less humidity and cool air!

I’ve done the work for you this week to find some of my favorite runway hair and makeup looks that pair perfect for this time of year. These looks are made for the woman who like to step out and be different. Switching your look doesn’t have to be chopping off all of your hair, or going a completely different shade.

Rose Gold Sex Kitten..

This look entails choosing the side part that you DON’T normally use. What that does is creates a natural lift at the root and part line. Flat ironed waves can achieve this type of wave and a good shaking of your hair  before you part it.

Her makeup is all about emphasizing the highlighter on: brow bone, high cheekbone & bridge of the nose. With her color pallete in the rose gold family for eyes, cheeks and lips this screams glamourous.

The Fairytale

This look is great for fine to medium  long hair. This look can be created with a 1 inch barrel curling iron with a huge section on the side you part the hair on curled together in unison and pinned with a pin curl clip to set the curl. Soft blowout with minimal curl everywhere else. Brush out and finish off the look with a pomade to smooth and lay down the flyaways on the top and side.

Finish off this look with a heavy lined eye, pastel shadow in the same palette as your eye color and a soft pale peachy lip. This is not an overly contoured, highlighted or overdone face. Litte bronzer for the cheeks and a strong brow can complete this look.

The Romantic

This is great for all hair types. It’s a play on the wintery beachy look. This is all about using your natural hair texture and playing it up with product that enhances that wave. Start with your hair wet and apply your wave spray generously. You can diffuse the hair until its about 70% dry and you really want to let the rest dry on its own. For this look part your hair on the side that is most comfortable, while leaving the other side softly tucked behind one ear.

For the makeup here, it’s a very muted look. Taupy, Gold, Soft Bronze works great for the eyes. The inner rim of the lash line on the top can emphasize your eye without looking to strong. Again, minimal blush, minimal bronzer, and a deeper Nude lip completes this look.

** Great if your outfit is bold in color
